According to the Daily Mail, former Arsenal ace and England international,Jack Wilshere, could be set to make a stunning return to Bournemouth after ‘looking sharp’ in training.

Wilshere is currently without a club after he left West Ham in the summer of 2020. The 29-year-old has been training with the Cherries in a bid to improve his fitness as he seeks out a new club.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall was so impressed with him in training he’s considering offering Wilshere a short-term contract with the Championship side.

Tindall said: ‘Jack’s still training with us, he’s training well, he’s looking sharp and it’s really good to have him.

‘It’s a situation we’ll keep monitoring in the next week or two and we’ll see where Jack’s at, and what we feel as a club in terms of what would be the best thing moving forward.

‘Whenever you’ve got a player of Jack’s quality training with you and you’re able to have a closer look, it would be foolish to say there’s not a chance of wanting to do something.’

Wilshere had previously considered a move abroad with America’s MLS or Spain’s La Liga looking like the favourable destination. West Brom were also reportedly interested in securing his signature.

Despite several options being available to him it seems Bournemouth may be Wilshere’s chosen destination after he seems to have fitted in nicely. More to follow.
