Manchester City new-boy Jack Grealish enjoyed a meal at Pep Guardiola’s restaurant on Thursday night, a warm welcome to his new home.
Grealish to City was officially announced on Thursday night after several weeks of speculation, weeks which will have been torture for the Aston Villa fanbase.
They’ve now been put out of their misery, with the BBC reporting that Man City have paid £100m for the privilege of housing Grealish, who’s penned a six-year contract.

Grealish was born in Birmingham and has spent his entire career to date playing in the Midlands. A move to Manchester is a real change of scenery for the 25-year-old.
His new manager, Pep Guardiola, is clearly wasting no time getting Grealish settled in Manchester, having invited him for a slap-up meal at his luxury restaurant on Thursday night.

Grealish has only recently returned from his holidays in Mykonos and Croatia. After a few weeks of piña coladas for breakfast, he’ll probably have gone for a salad…
