England star Jack Grealish has revealed he is BAFFLED as to why teammates Ben Chilwell and Mason Mount have been forced to isolate.
After news broke of Scotland’s Billy Gilmour’s positive coronavirus test, with England having played the Scots just a matter of days prior, it sparked fears that the Three Lions’ Euro 2020 campaign could too be derailed by COVID-19.
While there has, to date, been no positive tests returned by any England stars, Chilwell and Mount were forced to watch from the sidelines yesterday evening after being told to isolate by Public Health England.

You could be forgiven for wondering why they have been told to isolate, but the entire Scotland squad, bar Gilmour, were available to feature in the defeat to Croatia last night.
England’s Jack Grealish, speaking in wake of the victory over the Czech Republic, appears to be as confused as anyone why Chilwell and Mount have been made an example of.
Grealish: “It’s crazy how we have no players in our squad with covid and have two players isolating and Scotland have one and none isolating. It baffles me.” #Euro2020 #Eng

If Gareth Southgate’s men crash out of the tournament in the knockout stage, serious questions are going to be asked about whether it was fair to forcibly deplete England’s squad.
