Ivan Toney scored a 98th-minute winner for Brentford to sink champions Manchester City at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola would have been DESPERATE to ensure his side picked up all three points in their final fixture before the Premier League took a break for the World Cup.
After Ivan Toney gave the visitors the lead early in the first-half, you figured that not all was going to go to plan for Man City, on home soil, in pursuit of leaders Arsenal.
Phil Foden equalised on the stroke of half-time, which gave you the impression Man City would go from strength to strength and batter Brentford in the second.
However, despite all the huffing and puffing, Man City, and Erling Haaland, couldn’t break down what are a notoriously strong Brentford side in the defensive third.
Brentford then got their reward for all the hard work, having hit Man City on the counter-attack, with Ivan Toney providing the finishing touch.
What a way to bounce back from being snubbed by Gareth Southgate!
