Ivan Toney has reportedly appeared in front of an FA disciplinary panel for the betting offence charges he faces according to a Sky Sports report.
The Brentford striker has already admitted to the charges and both he and his club expect him to face a lengthy ban at some point.
Toney was charged with 232 charges in November and then a further 30 at the end of December, all relating to between 2017 and 2021 before he joined Brentford from Peterborough.
The 27-year-old has not let the looming ban affect his performances this season, with the forward banging in 20 goals in 33 Premier League appearances and making his England debut in March.
Any ban would likely carry into next season and greatly affect any chance of Toney making a big-money to one of the bigger clubs in the Premier League.
