🚨Key Irish coach has walked mid season after supporters frustration .. 😬

Ulster head coach Dan McFarland has stepped down as Ulster head coach, you don’t if ever see this in rugby, is rugby turning into football .. regardless this is a huge story, see the reports and comments below ..

Hi Caolan, I only know the history for about 4 years since the start of the Rainbow cup. Dan has had cracker jack squads. The only time he had some success when Duane was there. Duane is a player coach who no doubt helped. Its time for new blood no?

He has had a long stint & it is hard to keep things fresh & interesting for much longer (witness Stuart & even Klopp) in particular as many of players have been there throughout. He has done a solid job & would be ideal for London Irish 5th Province RC in Championship

Shows the class of the guy. Blames the ref for losing a game hey has 2 man advantage in and then quits coming into business end of the season. Should offer to see out rest of season unless they want him gone sooner

Entirely unsurprising, what is bizarre is Burns to Munster. Why? Puzzled by what coaches see in the guy. A decent enough journeyman, no more.

I’m HOPING it’s a young buck that’s given time and patience by the fans. The financial situation ain’t changing & there’s going to be a lot of players leaving. I’m struggling to think of many names that haven’t just signed contracts (eg Felix Jones) but I’d like Payne personally
