Marcus Smith no arms shoulder to Lowe’s head is what started the whole thing. Would’ve seen red with yellow in the first

Well I mean they spent the first half as penalty machines, fell away in the second by their high standards of penalty count! Murley tried his best to make up the difference!

One of a few they got away with. Freeman trip on Lowe, Murley no arms on Conan. Surprised CCS didn’t see yellow for the tackle on Keenan.

Don’t show that to England fans they think it was only Irish players that were engaged in after. Nasty little stamp.

Scumbag. Whether it works for them or it doesn’t, they always come with exactly the same game plan and that is to up the physicality onto the edge and beyond and try and intimidate Ireland. They bore me.

  1. The English team has, just like NZ, for years been getting away with dirty play.

About time the rest of the world see them for what they are:

  2. Typical, petulant childish action.
Who can consider him for the Lions he’s a liability.
    Should be cited.

  3. Itoje spent the fame arguing with the referee instead of leading his players …… not yet captain material!

  4. Many so called incidents of foul play are not ‘foul’ play at all. They are mistakes or accidents, committed, if that is the right word, at speed. World Rugby have chosen to re-define the word. If the number of yellow cards were totted up on a typical week-end, one would assume that the game is filthy, played by thugs.
There were two fouls this weekend that qualify as filthy. One was committed by Ntamak who was rightly given a red card (even though this, to go back to my statement above, it was committed at speed. The Itoje incident was pure evil, committed when the game wasn’t even in play. He should receive a severe ban for this one, and let’s not have any of this ‘reduced by half’ nonsense when a
    player says he is sorry.

  5. Ah come off it… he barely lifts his foot and certainly doesn’t catch Hansen. Thi video alone offers nothing conclusive to draw out a citing. Pure clickbait!!

  6. There was also a deliberate hand to head strike in a ruck by Itoje which was missed by the lines person and the video ref.

  7. It is strange that Itoge, widely touted as a Lions captain, is so often involved in these incidents, as well as some ‘on the edge’ activities at the lineout. All he needs now, is to master the art of the high tackle and he could be the new Owen Farrell.
