The Prime Minister Boris Johnson made a vital mistake in wishing the Lions best of luck before their massive first test match of the series against the Springboks today in Cape Town. He wished the ‘British Lions’ every success rather than the ‘British and Irish Lions’. As you may know Irish people don’t take kindly to being called British, when will the Prime Minister of the UK ever learn?
