The build up is well and truly under way for South Africa vs Ireland in the summer series that will be played in both Pretoria and Durban in the rainbow nation.
See what the former Munster centre Damian de Allende had to say below ..

Normally ignore the pre-match war of words stuff because it's always a little silly but he's talking about the 2017 match in Dublin where they lost 38-3?!? 7 years is a mad time to hold a grudge for "disrespect" about a result so bad it got your coach fired. https://t.co/J2QSb3AVCS

You’ve won two World Cups since then! Surely that’s enough to get your own respect back!
In fairness to them. We saw them seeing a clip of Off the ball saying they have a nasty drug culture and we shouldn’t sign any players from South Africa. Even though we don’t test kids at the same level. Players can hold grudges for ages.
I like the spite. Waiting on Eben to furiously reminisce about O’Mahoney accidentally bumping into his hotel chair, spilling some of his Kellogg’s one rainy morning in 2016…
I’ve been quite critical of some parts of the Irish media being somewhat disrespectful but he’s gotta take this on the chin ! Not only was it 7 years ago but 38-7 is a battering and you have to expect some flak for it
