England went down to 14 men just before half-time due to a dangerous hit from England full-back Freddie Stewart on Ireland full-back Hugo Keegan.

It was a cracking game of rugby from both sides and it was an awful shame that the game was ruined by a red card. Rugby is a game where you need the full 15 on the pitch, if not you are always fighting a losing battle. Fair play to England for sticking with it.
