Ireland opened their Six Nations campaign with a loss against the French at the Stade de France on Thursday night. Irish fans are not happy at the two big calls that were missed by man in the middle Karl Dickson.

For me, this is why I don’t like watching France at home. Nothing ever gets called back not by the TMO, not by the match officials on the field.
I think the French are the worst when it comes to the spirit of the game.#FRAvIRE #SixNations pic.twitter.com/drubSJaT3M

Here are some of the comments online ..
I sadly have to repeat myself every year. The stadium screen editing affects games in France. They literally show nothing that impacts on France but the merest hint of something against the opposition and it’s played on loop to a wall of boos and whistles until the match ref or TMO is forced to look and with massive pressure usually sides with the French. It’s similar in Dublin. Sad because it’s cheating. But we need neutral editing of what is shown on screens or nothing at all. It happens in the Champions League as well.
How is it France’s fault or french supporters fault that the linesman (Gardner) can’t see a forward pass literally in front of him or that the TMO doesn’t do his job? what’s the relation between a poor ref call and the spirit of the game of the French?
French TV producers, yes. The camera guys are very good. They just choose not to air the incriminating angle, unless of course it goes against the French. Then they run it non-stop until TMO chirps in the refs ear 😂
