Inter Milan and Juventus are both plotting SHOCK summer moves for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, according to The Sun.
Gallagher spent pre-season with Chelsea and was reportedly very close to being kept around as part of Thomas Tuchel’s first-team squad. However, a loan to Crystal Palace was deemed to be the preferable option for the prospect.
That has proven to be a shrewd move for all involved, with Gallagher being one of the surprise packages of the season in Patrick Vieira’s midfield, a shoo-in to feature in Chelsea’s midfield next year, you would have thought.
Thomas Tuchel could face competition in his efforts to draft Gallagher back into the squad, however, with The Sun reporting that both Inter Milan and Juventus would be keen on taking the England international to Italy.
Tammy Abraham departed Chelsea in favour of a move to Serie A over the summer and it has proven to be a defining moment for his career. Could Gallagher be tempted to head to Italy in search of enjoying similar success?
