Inter Milan fans have REJECTED Romelu Lukaku’s grovelling apology, with the Belgian now facing contempt from Chelsea fans, too!
Lukaku was adored by Inter Milan fans during his time at the San Siro. Having chosen to depart at a time where the club had already lost Antonio Conte and Achraf Hakimi, the fan base turned against him.
He subsequently signed for Chelsea, a club that he claimed held control of his heart and where he would like to finish his career. During a recent interview with Sky Italy, Lukaku contradicted himself on all of those points.

Lukaku spoke of his adoration for Inter, how he wanted to extend his contract, rather than leave, and revealed his desire to return to the club while he’s still at the peak of his powers. It was a clear attempt to get the fans back onside.
Unfortunately for Romelu, it hasn’t had the desired effect.

As a result, he has alienated both Chelsea and Inter Milan supporters, which leaves him with very few admirers in the game. What an almighty mess he’s made of things with a single interview…
