Some good news for the GAA today as the Inter-county teams will be allowed to resume training come the 19th of April as the Leagues in both Hurling and Gaelic football will be looking to get going. The GAA did an excellent job of getting both the Hurling and Gaelic football Championships completed in 2020. But as the Taoiseach said this virus we’re facing now is a very different virus and can spread more rapidly.
The decision will hopefully lead to competitive games in May https://t.co/w5CxQAQvPZ #GAA

Limerick won the Liam McCarthy cup last year, while Dublin made it six in a row lifting the Sam Maguire cup at an empty Croke Park. The rest of the teams are playing catch up on Limerick and Dublin as both teams have set a level of excellence that will be hard to match. Will we get any supporters at this years GAA matches? Time will tell but it looks highly unlikely, I’m sure we’d all be happy just to see a Championship again this year.
