Sports fans have been left stunned after an incredible race between jockeys went viral.
This remarkable contest took place at the Monterrico racecourse in Peru, where the jockeys ran among themselves without horses.
It ended up being a 100-meter foot race between the jockeys.
The event featured 16 jockeys competing in a 100m sprint race, primarily to raise money for charity and provide entertainment for the spectators as well.

As the race got underway, two jockeys tangled with each other, while the winner of the race was all smiles with his rival runners.
Fans took fun of the event. One wrote: “Think they’d go faster if I whipped their a**es?”
Another one wrote: “Just when you think you’ve escaped Gold Ship by banning horses, her jockey appears behind you in a Looney Tunes-style cloud of dust.”

The Jockey Fest is the country’s largest equestrian festival. Admission is completely free and is held between midday and 7pm.
