PSG midfielder and former Manchester United star Ander Herrera has become one of the first players to publicly condemn plans for 12 of Europe’s biggest clubs to form a ‘Super League’.
News is still coming in, but as it currently appears, 12 clubs, including England’s Man United, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea will breakaway and compete in an elitist league.
In what has been a shocking 24 hours for football, one of the first players to come out and slam the proposed plans is Herrera.
Here is what he posted on his official social media.
