Former Tipperary Legend Speaks Out About the ‘Disgusting’ Eye Gouge

The former Tipperary hurler Pádraic Maher took to his twitter after the quarter-final between Armagh and Galway. It was a cracking game between two great sides, but the one down point was the digesting eye gouge from one of the players in the extended Armagh squad and the former Tipperary hurler said;

“That gouge into comers eyes is filth of the highest order”

It’s a pity that such an incident happened in what was a cracking quarter-final and one of the first best games in the Championship this season. It will make for two great semi-finals between Dublin and Kerry and Galway and Derry.
