šŸšØLimerick suffer a massive blow ahead of the hurling Championship .. šŸ˜¬

Limerick midfielder Darragh Oā€™Donovan has been ruled out of Limerickā€™s first two games against Clare and Tipperary.

The All-Star midfielder suffered a calf injury in training last month, two days before he was due to start against in the league.

ā€œDarragh Oā€™Donovanā€™s injury is very slow in responding and heā€™ll be ruled out for the first two games. He wonā€™t be available,ā€ said Treaty manager John Kiely at the launch of the ā€˜Win a Home in Adareā€™ fundraiser.

ā€œItā€™s a calf injury. We just want to make sure he gets back fully so weā€™re working hard on it, so is he, but for the moment, he wonā€™t be available for the first two games.ā€

The action gets going now in only a matter of weeks and we canā€™t wait for it. Can Limerick be the first team to do five in a row in hurling?
