Max Verstappen and Red Bull could be in big trouble ahead of the Hungarian GP.
During the second practice session in Budapest, the Belgian driver threw a towel out while driving.
The stewards said they would investigate the bizarre incident, and the Red Bull could face a potential fine.
This is not the first time such incidents have happened.
McLaren driver Lando Norris was sent out with a spanner and a torch inside his car during opening practice at the Miami Grand Prix in May.
He said on the team radio at the time: “You have left so many tools in the cockpit. Everything is just falling apart.”
At that time, the stewards let McLaren off with a slap on the wrist instead of fining them for an unsafe release.
Verstappen confirmed that he will stay at Red Bull. His contract runs till 2028.
The four-time World champion struggled during the practice session, and he will be looking to improve during the qualifying.
