Tempers boiled over following a High School basketball game in the U.S after a player knocked out an opponent during the post-match handshakes.
A basketball tussle in Iowa between the Nevada Cubs and Carlisle Wildcats ended 72-47, a convincing victory for the Cubs.
One Carlisle player in particular clearly found the defeat hard to stomach, with the post-match pleasantries having turned violent – with devastating effect.
The player in question sucker-punched one of his opponents in the core region before landing a second strike upstairs, knocking the victim out.

The context is unclear. There may well have been an incident or altercation between the pair during the game, the footage of which has not been released.
That is pure speculation, though, and does not serve as any sort of justification for the assault committed by the Carlisle player on his opponent.
In truth, the parents of the player who was attacked would be well within their rights to press charges…
