The former Ireland and Millwall player Eamon Dunphy graced our screens for thirty plus years and stepped away from it three years ago citing social media as a major factor and the new age of RTE that don’t like pundits that call it for what it is. Dunphy never shied away from giving his opinion whether you liked it or not and he seemed to love the controversy in the game.
I know some people that tuned into watch Dunphy and his other partners in crime Billy O’Herlihy and Irish greats John Giles and Liam Brady.
