The ten time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny Henry Shefflin came very close to knocking Limerick out of the All-Ireland today and book a sport in the final with his new county Galway. What an achievement that would have been in his first season as Galway boss.
It was a cracking game of hurling and the former cat lived every ball on the sideline. This got lot of attention online as people were quick to share their opinion. It’s going to make for a cracking final between both Kilkenny and Limerick and it’s one that Limerick will look forward to as they hope to win their third All-Ireland final in a row.

"I've obviously had some personal tough times, and you think about those people. Sport and hurling for us is your saving grace because that's what you love doing."

#limvgal Henry Shefflin was wrong, twice.
Too used to getting his own way with Kilkenny.

Some of the referee decisions need to be reviewed. Henry Shefflin doesn't get that worked up for no reason. Very sketchy decisions.

He was a dirty player now, I remember a certain set of ribs being cracked by the butt of a hurley lol, however no one can deny his skill and passion, he would have loved to have been on the pitch and galways strategy on the day was fantastic, no fear at all, as a lover of the sport and a limerick man I say much love to Henry and Galway are a force to be reckoned with, we look forward to meeting them again
