🚨 Heavyweight says he would ‘break retirement’ at 60 to fight Anthony Joshua

Dillian Whyte hasn’t ruled out fighting Anthony Joshua in the future.

The British rivals have history having met in both of the amateur and professional versions of the sport.

They were due to collide again last year but Whyte failed a drugs test and in stepped Robert Helenius.

Joshua then went on a four fight win-streak before being brutally knocked out by Daniel Dubois at the weekend.

But, Whyte still believes he has a future in the sport and admits he will always be up for facing the former unified champion.

Speaking to talkSPORT he said: “I think he does have a career in the heavyweight division. You know this is mistake we make as British fight fans, someone has one or two losses and we start writing them off and saying they’re no good, they’re finished, this, that and the other. Which is bad because Anthony Joshua’s been winning fights for the past eleven years. He’s had, what, three or four losses in eleven years? Just top guys as well. Dubois is not a chump.”

He concluded: “Even if I’m 60 years old and retired and they ask me to do the AJ fight, I will strap my knees and my lower back up and come out of retirement and give it all I’ve got left in the tank.”
