Eddie Hearn has revealed his belief that Tyson Fury is LYING about his plans to retire after fighting Dillian Whyte.
As Fury rocked up to a press conference on his own, with the task of promoting his fight with Whyte singlehandedly, you could have predicted that he’d come out with something that’d make the headlines.
He didn’t disappoint, with the Gypsy King claiming that he will fight no longer after taking on Whyte and will hang up his gloves after the conclusion of the 12 rounds at Wembley.
We took it with an almighty pinch of salt, and Eddie Hearn did as well. He doesn’t believe that Fury will ACTUALLY be retiring from boxing after his fight with Whyte next month.

It certainly wouldn’t make much sense, with Fury still at the peak of his powers and with such a legitimate chance to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of this era.
We’d expect Fury to navigate the fight with Whyte and then look towards taking on Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua. He might retire, but pigs might also fly…
