Eddie Hearn was filmed squaring up to a mouthy fan in the immediate wake of Anthony Joshua’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.
Emotions were running high at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with AJ having been dethroned in his home city and left wondering where on earth he goes from here.
The last thing that Joshua and promotor Eddie Hearn needed was fans giving it to them as they took the long walk back into the dressing room after the fight.
However, some in the crowd in North London were keen to rub the result in the pair’s face, something that Hearn didn’t take kindly to. Have a look at this clip…

It’s easy for drunken fans to hurl abuse at Joshua and Hearn without the fear of any consequences. By the sound of things they were a little startled when confronted by Hearn.
The mind boggles as to why anyone would want to make this any harder for AJ than it already is. Even having lost, he’s still one of Britain’s finest sportsmen. He needs support, not abuse.
