Hasbulla has lashed out at Conor McGregor after the Irishman named his chicken after the social media sensation.
Hasbulla has risen to fame in the combat sports community after aligning himself with the hugely successful contingent of fighters from Dagestan.
It was recently revealed that Hasbulla had become the latest ‘fighter’ to pen a deal with the UFC. It remains to be seen exactly how Dana White intends on using him.
The man himself is not interested in being any kind of mascot, though. He wants to get in the octagon and get down and dirty with fighters on the roster.
The latest fighter to have been called out by Hasbulla is former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor, who named his chicken after him.
Quoted by The Sun, Hasbulla pleaded with Dana White to organise a bout between himself and McGregor, while also revealing his desire to eat McGregor’s pet chicken.
“Hey uncle Dana White and UFC please make it happen. Let me eat this chicken Conor McGregor. I’m hungry, I’ll smash him with my mountain spirit.”
“My brother Khabib [Nurmagomedov] smashed him and all his team, now is my time to rise! I don’t follow bums… I didn’t know someone was running their mouth, @ me next time.”
It would, of course, be a complete and utter mismatch, but in the era of bizarre crossover bouts, we can’t definitively rule out the possibility of Hasbulla vs McGregor.
