Harry Kane tells Tottenham he wants out THIS WEEK as Manchester City speculation cools

Harry Kane has reiterated his desire to leave Tottenham, with just six days left in the transfer window for the striker to get his move.

At one point in time, Kane signing for Manchester City looked like a foregone conclusion. However, we are just days away from the window’s end and the England skipper remains a Tottenham player.

With it looking increasingly unlikely that Kane will be successful in his efforts to force a way out, you could argue it’d be a good time to U-turn and publicly state his commitment to Tottenham.

Instead, or so The Sun report, Kane has told Spurs chief Daniel Levy that he still wants to leave and sign for Man City over the next week.

The report also notes that Kane feels he has been hung out to dry by Tottenham, who have offered no public backing over reports he was skipping out on training to force a move.

If Kane does remain in North London beyond the deadline, you get the impression that his relationship with Levy and other key figures at Spurs will need some serious work.

What ought to have been a relatively straightforward situation – Kane stays or Kane goes – has ended up pretty complicated.
