Harry Kane has confirmed that he will be staying at Tottenham for the coming season.

Kane has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs this summer, having continually reiterated his desire to win major trophies.

The England captain is 28-years-old and without a winners’ medal to his name of any kind. His individual accolades are not enough to consider him among the greats.

Manchester City, on paper, would have been the ideal destination, with Pep Guardiola’s men having cleaned up all the available domestic silverware in recent seasons.

However, Kane has now revealed that he won’t be heading to the Etihad, or anywhere for that matter.

Kane will have been well aware at the start of the summer that Daniel Levy would not have made his exit straightforward.

The Three Lions star is the ultimate professional, though, so there’s little chance he’ll be kicking up a fuss and making life difficult under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Kane will kick on, and maybe, he’ll get his move next year…
