Lewis Hamilton has been boosted ahead of the Formula 1 finale by the sale of his £37m New York penthouse.
Hamilton will be looking to make history at the weekend as he heads to Abu Dhabi in search of his record-breaking eighth Formula 1 World Championship.
The Brit heads into the race level on points with title rival Max Verstappen, who has a narrow edge having won more races throughout the course of the season.
Hamilton will no doubt have his full focus fixed on the task at hand later in the week, but elsewhere, he’s successfully sold his £37m penthouse in New York City.
As is reported by The Sun, the apartment, which boasts five bedrooms across three floors, six bathrooms, a gym and a swimming pool, has been sold for a £4.22m profit.

The report notes that The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Rebel Wilson have all previously owned the property – which Hamilton has never actually lived in.
The reported £37m figure is just a fraction of the wealth of a man who was born into a working-class family in Stevenage. He serves as living proof that ANYTHING is possible.
