Manchester City have reportedly already reached an agreement in principle to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland is the most coveted player on the planet at current, with his extraordinary goal-scoring exploits at Dortmund capturing the imagination of every single one of Europe’s top clubs.
Some saw it as merely a foregone conclusion that Haaland would move to the Santiago Bernabeu, potentially to unite with Kylian Mbappe in attack, but Los Blancos appear to have been pipped to the post.
According to the Daily Mail, Man City have reached an agreement in principle to sign Haaland from Dortmund at the end of the season, with the player himself having decided on a move to the Etihad.

If true, that would essentially spell the end to the competitiveness of the Premier League, with City already the best team in the country without having a striker starting through the middle week-in, week-out.
