Pep Guardiola has been quizzed by the press over a video that showed several Manchester City players worse for wear during a night out.
The video, which stars Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker and Riyad Mahrez, has done the rounds on social media, with football fans laughing at the players’ expense.
The trio were not allowed into a bar by security staff as Man City’s record signing Grealish could barely keep his eyes open.

You could have predicted that questions would be posed to Guardiola on the subject as he faced the media today.
As he often does, he provided a perfectly calculated reply, one which defuses the entire issue and removes any element of scandal about it.
Pep on Grealish, Walker, Mahrez night out. “They will be fined because they didn’t invite me.
“I am so upset because they didn’t invite me. “Hopefully next time they will invite me.”— Paul Hirst (@hirstclass) February 8, 2022
Whether the three players will be internally reprimanded is another matter entirely, but Guardiola has no intention of hanging them out to dry in the press.
After all, all they’ve actually done is gone out and enjoyed themselves, which they’re well within their rights to do.
Grealish might want to go a little easy on the sauce, though. There are certain responsibilities that come with a £100m price tag, avoiding alcoholism is one of them.
