Evidence provided Mason Greenwood has lost support of Manchester United dressing room

A total of seven Manchester United players have decided to unfollow Mason Greenwood on social media following his arrest on suspicion of rape and assault.

Greenwood was suspended by Man United after girlfriend Harriet Robson made serious allegations against the England international via her Instagram story.

He was brought into custody for questioning by Greater Manchester Police, who have been successful in extending the period of time they can legally hold him.

Greenwood remains in police custody as Greater Manchester Police continue to quiz him over his alleged wrongdoing. In the meantime, his allies in the United dressing room are dropping like flies.

According to The Sun, SEVEN players have now made the decision to cut ties with Greenwood by unfollowing him on their social media channels.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Jesse Lingard, David de Gea, Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Scott McTominay have all clicked the unfollow button on Instagram, as per the report.

Greenwood has clearly lost the support of the dressing room, even if the allegations against him are yet to be proven.

It remains to be seen if there’s any coming back for him at Man United, regardless of the result of the police’s criminal investigation.
