The Gila River Arena in Arizona played host to UFC 263 – the promotion’s latest jam-packed event.
14 bouts stacked out the event’s early prelims, prelims, and main-card with all roads leading to a middleweight title showdown between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori.
However, despite the exciting main event, the fighting headlines were stolen by welterweights Leon Edwards and fan-favourite Nate Diaz.
Returning to the octagon following a near two-year-long layoff, Stockton-born Diaz went an unprecedented five rounds against rising British star Edwards.
Eventually coming away with a unanimous victory, Edwards saw his hand raised after 25 gruelling minutes.
However, earlier in the fight, veteran Diaz suffered a savage cut.
