The former Liverpool and Scottish midfielder Graeme Souness was on Sky Sports this afternoon with Karen Carney and at one stage said “It’s a man’s game” sat next to Karen Carney on the panel. People took objection to this and were raging that he’s everything wrong with what there’ not more women in sport.
Surely he didn’t mean anything by it and people should leave him off?

Because a few tackles have been put in today, Graeme Souness thinks it’s ‘a mans game again’ 🤯 the tension in the studio after he said that was awful as he sits next to Karen Carney, an extremely accomplished female footballer. Absolutely embarrassing from Souness 👎🏽

Graeme Souness saying that football is a "mans game" is exactly why women's football has struggled so much with backwards people like him still in the game. That is both sexist and encouraging toxic masculinity

Graeme Souness being shamed for calling football a 'mans game' whilst being a pundit on a panel of a game of mens football is the most 2022 thing you'll see.
Cancel him immediately.
PS – I don't care how many caps she won, Souness was one of the greatest midfielders ever. https://t.co/d9oI1okIBf

What a cracking game those two games were today, especially the London derby between both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, there’s a real rivalry between the two clubs and now it’s even hotter between the two managers.
There two are going to be fighting all the way in the league this season, guaranteed.
