Graeme Souness: “Everyone wants to play against them, they are an easy touch”

Former Scottish captain and Liverpool player Graeme Souness was on duty again this evening for the big Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton, Everton’s first win at Anfield in 22 years and a win that puts Liverpool in serious trouble for qualifying for the top four and moves Everton ever close to getting in to this all important Champions League place and the finances that come with it.

What a job Carlo Ancelotti is doing with the blue side of Liverpool, the Italian had been with the toffees for over a year now and is a Merseyside favourite with the blues. Can Everton sustain this and get in to the Champions League, they also managed to get a point off Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend so not a bad week for Everton at all despite the loss to Manchester City during the week who are now the odd on favourites to win the Premier League.
