Graeme Souness believes that Marcel Sabitzer should’ve been sent off after awful tacklešŸ˜¬

Marcel Sabitzer was very lucky not to receive his marching orders after putting in a brutal tackle on Wout Faes on Sunday afternoon.

The Austrian midfielder joined the Red Devils in January as a last-minute replacement for Christian Eriksen who suffered a devastating injury in the FA Cup.

With vital experience in the Bundesliga playing for Bayern Munich, his acquisition was a very smart move but he put in an awful challenge against Leicester and shouldā€™ve been sent off.

At least thatā€™s what Graeme Souness thinks as he gave his verdict on the tackle at halftime in the Sky Sports studio.

ā€œ100%. I think this is a red card, for several reasons,ā€ he said.

ā€œSabitzer has turned side on to him. If you are going to ā€˜doā€™ someone, that is how you do it. You turn side on.

ā€œIf he makes contact with the ball, whatā€™s he going to do with the ball? Heā€™s looking for the player.

ā€œI donā€™t care what some referee who has never played the game says. That is a sending off. That is dangerous play.

ā€œIf thatā€™s not dangerous play, what is?ā€
