Ten years to the day that the former Welsh manager and Newcastle United player Gary Speed sadly passed away. Speed was well respected in the game and the tributes have poured in today for the former Sheffield United player.
Speed managed to bring Wales football to another level and the success you are seeing now in recent years with Wales qualifying for major tournaments is thanks to the hard work that Speed put in on and off the pitch. He is sadly missed by everyone in the game of football.
