Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville ranked the squadâs most important players but failed to mention Bruno Fernandes.
âIn order, I would go Casemiro, I would go Rashford, Iâd go de Gea and Varane equal third at this moment in time,â he said on Sky Sports.
âI canât believe Iâm even saying â forget Casemiro because he wasnât even here last year â that Varane, Rashford, de Gea have elevated themselves into a position whereby you feel they are in great form.
âWe saw last night, de Gea had to make the saves, Rashford has to come on, Casemiro has to come on.
âVarane didnât come on but I do feel like he is the most important centre-back right now, particularly in big matches and thatâs why he gets rested.â
Do you agree with his picks?
