Gary Neville has changed his title predictions AGAIN as he believes 85 points will be enough

Gary Neville has finally predicted Arsenal to win the title but claims that they will ‘limp’ over the finish line.

The former Manchester United defender outraged Arsenal fans when he predicted that the Gunners will finish outside the top two last month despite being eight points ahead of Manchester City at the time.

He then recalibrated his prediction after Arsenal beat his Manchester United side saying that they will finish second.

But he has now changed his prediction again, claiming that they will win the league barely, just ‘limping’ over the line.

‘I believe that 85 points will win a team the Premier League this season,’ Neville said while featuring on Sky’s The Overlap.

‘Arsenal will limp over the line in May and will come under pressure at times, but in terms of Arsenal having a big lead currently, we were thinking on Saturday afternoon about how quickly the point difference will change – the lead over Manchester City can change very quickly.

‘It could happen multiple times between now and the end of the season, where Arsenal will lose, Manchester City will win and then the gap closes quite rapidly.

‘If Manchester City overtake Arsenal with 5-10 games left to go, they’ll win it by 10 points, but if Arsenal are to win the league, they’ll win it in the penultimate or last game of the season.’

The Gunners hit a bump in the road last weekend, losing to Everton but were spared their blushes when North London rivals Tottenham won against Manchester City.
