There was three black players, Sancho, Rashford and Saka that missed penalties for England last night and you just knew the abuse was going to flow, as if their skin colour had anything to do with missing penalties. Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has asked for British prime minister Boris Johnson to do more in the battle of racism that runs deep in the UK.

You can always count on Gary Neville to say the right thing no matter who it upsets and fair play to him, Neville is always the voice of reason. It’s time that everyone and especially the social media companies didn’t accept this anymore.
