Gareth Bale Fires a Parting Shot at Sacked Manager Jose Mourinho

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Southampton two goals to one at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night a good win to warm the up for the league cup final at the weekend against Manchester City. The Welsh captain and Real Madrid player was thankful of the attacking their doing now that Mourinho has parted ways with the North London club.

“Just to be on the front foot a bit more. We want to attack, we’re a big team, we have great players,” Bale said when asked about what needed to change at Tottenham.

“We need to attack more, we need to try and stay higher up the pitch. I think we did that today.”
