Gareth A Davies has said that this weekend’s fight between Anthony Joshua and Jermaine Franklin could “break” the Englishman.
The heavyweight clash between Joshua and Franklin is set to take place at the O2 Arena this evening, Joshua’s first fight since his split-decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk in August.
Ahead of the fight, boxing journalist Gareth A Davies told TalkSport what he thinks about this fight from Joshua’s point of view.
“For Joshua, this fight won’t make him, but it can break him.
“That’s the key to this contest. He’s expected to win and show his full flow, I think we’ll see Anthony Joshua 3.0 in my view.”

Davies touched on the success of Joshua’s career and how this fight is an opportunity to build up his momentum.
“He’s had the amateur career and the Olympic success, the growth into being a world champion and now he’s had his fall and must rise again, but he’ll only do that if he believes in himself and has that flow.”
