Galway remain unchanged for Croker date with destiny

Galway, like Kilkenny, will line-out at Croke Park on Sunday with the same 15 that began their epic tussle with Tipperary in the All-Ireland SHC final.

Cunningham stated after the Leinster SHC decider that Galway would reach the September showdown and his players ensured his faith was justified.

One of the key questions, though, will centre on the positioning of Joe Canning once more.

The Portumna clubman has been selected in the No 14 position again but may switch to a roaming half-forward role to supplement the midfield efforts of clubmate Andy Smith and Daithí Burke.
