The former Offaly footballer Kevin Kilmurray has sadly passed away, he was a legend of Offaly GAA. As a player won 2 All-Ireland titles. In 1971 beating Galway & 1972 beating Kerry. Kilmurray then went on to coach the Offaly side 2004-06 taking the side to the Leinster final in 2006 losing to Dublin.

We send our best wishes to his family and friends, just awful to hear of the passing of one of the greats of the game. A true Offaly legend and one that did a lot of the game of football in the midlands county.
No doubt he’ll be strongly remembered in the county and hopefully for the faithful county some of the good days might not be too far away..
