Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace yesterday was their first win since the return of the Premier League, as they lost to Aston Villa on New Year’s Day and drew 2-2 with Brentford after being 2-0 down.

Spurs putting four past the Eagles papers over the cracks slightly, with Patrick Vieira’s side in a rough run of winning just one of their last four matches, as Antonio Conte continues to frustrate his club’s fans with his style of football.

Amid this topsy-turvy run of form, former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor admitted on Talksport this morning that he feels Conte may walk with the team still needing improvements.

I don’t think he [Conte] has the patience. He’ll look at his defence and go “I need £150m”.”

And what’s Harry Kane thinking? He’ll want to win some trophies now. Right now, Spurs look a million miles away from winning a trophy.”

Spurs host Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Saturday, before they entertain league leaders Arsenal the following Sunday as they look to re-enter the top four.
