As the club action is taking place all over the country at the moment, a story broke during the week via the Irish Examiner that the GAA are planning a price increase in tickets for the 2027 Championship.
I can't see a genuine reason to do this other then pure greed. Would price the ordinary fan out of the game and lead to poor attendances across the country
Considering the amount of other costs involved to go to games nowadays this would be poor enough form if it happens https://t.co/QnffXHswZf

Here are some of the comments online ..
Look at how league games are attended as it is. If the gaa actually cared they’d be reducing ticket prices. Grab All Association back at it
Its the cost of intrgration. Lgfa and camogie teams looking to be funded equally despite lower gate receipts. The money has to come from somewhere.
They don’t pay players and want to increase prices..,, ik GAA tbrives on amateurism and getting popular but it makes them look bad if they raise the prices. We could unfortunately seeing another case scenario where oeners care more about money thej thr actual sport
Its bad form if this goes ahead family’s will struggle to go to matches its a long calender year as it is. Between clubs and county. How does the gaa think people will afford all these games
The ones getting to the finals are band wagons that dont go to games all year as it is

The GAA are a disgrace putting up prices and don’t Value GAA fans of players.
The Grap All Association are more interested in corporate and concerts and not the GAA player or fan eaten bread is soon forgotten
Grab all association at it again..
