The Sunday Game has been coming in for some heavy criticism as of late for their pundits and presenters alike. On Monday morning they put out a tweet that seemed to be in response to the criticism outlining all that the national broadcaster offered at over the weekend.

“12 hours live TV. 10 hours live radio. 2hr hilites show. Across 2 days. 3 venues. 4 different panels. 2 x Hurling Quarters. 2 x Tailteann semis. Special guests. New voices. Analysis. Tributes. Awards. Credit to all in front and behind the camera.#LicenceFee #RTEGAA #SundayGame”
The Sunday Game has been on RTE since the late 1970’s brining the GAA action into our homes on the screen. But a lot of viewers are left frustrated as to why The Sunday Game hasn’t added more over the years to it’s coverage..

  1. So they’re doing us a favour. If RTE can’t handle the GAA schedule, then arrangements should be made for another media station to share the load.

  2. Listening to the commentary, it’s sounds like they are still in the 70’s. Absolute muck. It’s like everything now , 1 person complains, a good commentator gets shafted and the rest of the audience has to put up with shite to keep the complainant happy
