Former Meath footballer Denis Kealy has sadly passed away after being involved in a car accident.

Denis Kealy, in his 40s, died after a single-car crash at around 2.30pm on Monday on the R154 at Piercetown, near Dunboyne in Co Meath.

He was the driver and the only person in the car.

We won’t forget that famous Meath team he was apart that did three Leinster titles in a row and won the All-Ireland in 1999, legendary Meath team that.
