Former Offaly hurler and one of the greatest ever to play the game Brian Whelahan has taken to his twitter today as the club All-Ireland is taking place at Croke Park to publicly criticise the GAA and the state of the pitch at GAA headquarters today.
Some people are trying to blame the Gareth Books concerts in the summer for the state of the pitch today.
‘GAA really showing what they think of the club player’s on their biggest day. Pitch is nothing short of a disgrace’
Is what the former legendary Offaly hurler said online today, see his tweet below;

The Croke Park surface was brilliant last year and got destroyed by the Garth Brooks concerts. The replacement turf looks very poor

They better have the pitch right for the summer months as we look forward to another cracking summer of inter country action.
Have never seen the Croke park pitch in as poor as condition.
The joke that was playing Leinster club finals and semi finals has backfired.
