Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte now in danger of collapse, Frank Warren reveals

Frank Warren has revealed that Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte will be OFF if the challenger doesn’t sign the contract before the end of the week.

Whyte has been forced to remain patient for his opportunity to fight for a world title. After step aside talks between Fury, Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk fell through, it was confirmed that he would finally get his chance.

However, despite constant goading from Fury on social media, Whyte has been nowhere to be seen. Fans are yet to hear from ‘The Body Snatcher’ – who is now at risk of losing the opportunity he has been given by Fury.

Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, has been quoted by The Sun revealing that they will have no choice but to move on from Whyte, should he not sign the fight agreement before the end of this week.

“If he doesn’t sign he’s out. Those were the terms of the purse bid. Why wouldn’t he sign? He’s getting a massive purse, it makes no sense for him not to sign.”

“From the day of the purse bid, there were 21 days to lodge the contract, regardless of what Eddie Hearn says. We’re not even dealing with Hearn, we’re dealing with Dillian Whyte’s lawyer, Hearn has no involvement unless we’re told otherwise.”

“We’ve been dealing and negotiating with his lawyer and that’s it.”

Eddie Hearn has previously revealed that Whyte HAS had the contract through and his lawyers are looking over it. It’s unclear what the hold up is, but it’s hard to imagine that Warren’s bluffing. They need a fight, in writing, and soon.
